Position Overview The Social Media Coordinator is truly an operational backbone of the social department. This role ensures client accounts run smoothly — from engagement and content publishing to influencer coordination and internal organization. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple moving parts, and stays actively informed on what is performing across social platforms. You will work closely with Social team leads and the Director to execute strategies with precision and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Community Management & Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and DMs daily in each brand’s voice. Ensure timely responses and no engagement gaps. Proactively engage with aligned accounts, partners, and community members. Support giveaways, UGC reposts, and interactive campaigns while flagging customer service issues or sensitive conversations quickly.
Account Organization & Administrative Support: Draft and help organize client meeting agendas. Take detailed notes during client calls and send clear recaps with next steps. Ensure meeting invites, recurring calendars, and project timelines are scheduled and maintained. Support internal task management in Asana while tracking approvals, publishing dates, and deadlines. Maintain clean and organized digital asset libraries with consistent naming conventions.
Content Creation & Post-Production Support: Film and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok. Support content shoots with BTS capture and organization. Edit video content for pacing, captions, and platform formatting. Support scheduling and mobile publishing across platforms. Design simple social-first graphics and carousel layouts, assist with light motion graphics or animated text treatments, and support basic photo editing and asset formatting.
Trend Spotting & Platform Awareness: Identify and implement trend-based ideas that align with brand strategy. Stay current on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and new features across major social platforms.
Influencer & Creator Coordination: Research potential creators aligned with client goals when needed. Draft outreach and manage follow-ups. Track contracts, deliverables, timelines, and usage rights. Coordinate gifting, event invites, and campaign logistics.
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have (Job Requirements)
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Skills: Strong written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities. Comfortable managing multiple moving parts and deadlines across accounts.
Content Creation: Experience filming and editing short-form video content for social platforms including Instagram Reels and TikTok.
Design Tools: Basic graphic design experience using Canva or similar tools. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or motion graphics tools is preferred.
Platform Knowledge: Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook and a strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
Tools & Workflow: Experience using tools such as Asana, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Google Workspace.

Location
Candidates must reside in Austin, TX, at the time of application. While we operate in a hybrid model, this role requires in-person collaboration and attendance at client events.

Salary range for this role:
$45,000 – $48,000, commensurate with experience.
